I think you've made your point, for what that's worth. Well, good luck with your overpriced name-brand fuel injection hose. It's a good thing you went with that high-dollar hose so you could enjoy those XX miles before your built motor ate a rod bearing. My $1.71 per foot fuel injection hose from McMaster-Carr works great on my unbuilt, ragged-out, 161k mile NA motor. I'll let you know when my cow car has a serious mechanical failure with its cheap parts that even comes close to the mechanical failures you've experienced with your car.
